JOB DESCRIPTION

Deputy Manager – PMS Operations – Mumbai

 

  1. Reporting to – Head of Operations
  2. Location:  Gift City
  3. Qualification: Graduation / PG (Preferably Sales, Finance, Marketing)
  4. Experience: 5 to 7 years in the MF, AMC or PMS, AIF, operations.

Roles & Responsibility:

 

As an Operations official, your responsibilities will revolve around but not be limited to –

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing and ensuring smooth operational activities for Clearing & Settlement and Collateral Management as per Circulars, schedules & checklists
  • Compliance to the regulatory directives
  • Coordination within house development team for development / automation of various processes and functionalities
  • Conducting user acceptance testing for various upgrades to the systems and processes
  • Ensuring adherence to the required service level standards for various processes related to operations
  • Providing timely data/information to internal Department / Regulatory agencies
  • Conducting training sessions for the team to acquaint them on change in regulations, systems and processes
  • Drafting and updating department SOP
  • Handling various regulatory, statutory and process audits

 

  1. Investment Process:
  • Supporting the diligence process, which will involve, among others, helping the deal team in: Identifying diligence partners, Managing the diligence process, Summarizing diligence findings, Developing a road map to address identified issues • Supporting discussions of the investment opportunity at Investment Committee (IC) meetings, which will involve, among others, helping the deal team in: Preparing the memo to the committee, Recording and maintaining the meeting minutes • Supporting deal execution, post approval, which will involve, among others, helping the deal team with: Finalising agreements, Completing the investment, Ensuring investment related compliances, Ensuring safe custody of agreements and securities
  1. Monitoring Investments:
  • Supporting the deal team in: Obtaining performance information monthly or quarterly, as required, Preparing and maintaining monitoring templates, Supporting periodic presentations to senior management, Supporting the quarterly and annual internal and independent valuation exercises
  1. Compliance:
  • Supporting the CFO and the compliance officer in: Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to all regulators including the IFSCA, Ensuring adherence to applicable Indian and International laws and regulations
  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Supporting the CFO by: Overseeing preparation and distribution of periodic MIS reports, Overseeing preparation, submission, and audit of financial statements, Overseeing submission of reports to IFSCA, Ensuring submission of financial statements and reports to stakeholders, Maintaining timely and accurate BOA
  1. Investor Relations:
  • Supporting the CFO in: Completing KYC requirements and onboarding investors Investor onboarding, Ensuring submission of periodic monitoring reports to Investors, Supporting computation of Gross and Net IRRs, Responding to Investor queries, Ensuring Investor side letter compliances

 

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum 5-year continuous history of working in the PMS and AIF investment domain.
  • Experienced in Investment Process, Monitoring Investments, Compliance, Financial Reporting and Investor Relations is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Wealth Spectrum software is required.

 

NISM Exam Compulsory:

  1. NISM Series VII: Securities Operations and Risk Management

NISM Series VI: Depository Operations Certification Examination
