Skills Required:
1. In-depth knowledge of insurance broking best practices, risk management
frameworks, and regulatory requirements in India.
2. Familiarity with a wide range of insurance products and their applications in the
corporate sector.
3. Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data
from various sources.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively
convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify areas of improvement
and propose innovative solutions.
6. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build effective
relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Self-motivated and proactive approach to learning and staying updated on
industry developments.
8. Professional certifications related to risk management, such as CRM (Certified
Risk Manager), would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Research and Analysis:
1. Stay updated with the latest trends, developments, and regulatory changes in
insurance broking, risk management, and related fields.
2. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on best practices and emerging
strategies in risk management, both globally and within the Indian market.
3. Identify and evaluate potential areas of improvement in our existing risk
management processes and practices.
4. Analyze competitor offerings and benchmark against industry standards to
identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Proposal Development:
1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management,
underwriters, sales teams, and risk management specialists, to understand their
requirements and gather insights.
2. Use research findings and industry knowledge to develop proposals for
enhancing our risk management services and products.
3. Propose innovative ideas and strategies to improve our risk assessment,
mitigation, and advisory processes.
4. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior
management, highlighting the proposed areas of improvement and associated
benefits.
• Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, industry experts, and
professional associations to stay updated on industry developments and best
practices.
2. Collaborate with insurance providers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to
understand their product offerings and identify opportunities for partnership or
improvement.
3. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal teams regarding
risk management practices and industry trends.
• Training and Development
1. Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams to enhance their
understanding of risk management principles, best practices, and emerging
trends.
2. Provide guidance and support to sales teams in articulating the value proposition
of our risk management services to corporate clients.
• Compliance and Regulatory Awareness
1. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to
insurance broking and risk management in India.
2. Ensure that our risk management practices, and advisory services comply with
applicable legal and regulatory requirements
