Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Research – Debt & Equity:
a) Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of equity and debt securities, including stocks, bonds, and other financial Instruments.
b) Evaluate financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to assess investment opportunities and risks.

2. Research – Financial products:
a) Assessing and analysing a range of financial products, including Mutual Funds (both debt and equity), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and others.
b) Assisting in conducting quarterly research on Mutual Funds, collaborating with various teams to enhance research initiatives.
c) Regularly updating Net Asset Values (NAVs) in reports and downloading factsheets on a weekly and monthly basis.
d) Offering assistance to the in-house fund manager in conducting company-specific and sectoral research.
e) Cultivating and managing relationships with diverse Fund Managers, including those associated with Mutual Funds and Portfolio Management Services (PMS).

3. Investment Recommendations:
a) Generate timely and well-researched investment recommendations for both equity and debt securities.
b) Present findings and investment theses to portfolio managers and other stakeholders.

4. Market Trends and Macro-Economic Analysis:
a) Monitor and analyse macro-economic factors, market trends, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.
b) Provide insights into global and regional economic conditions.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Qualified / Semi Quelified CA, CFA Level 1 cleared, CFP, NISM Certified Investment Advisor, MBA (Finance) is a plus.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
– Proven experience as an Equity Research Analyst, preferably with exposure to both equity and debt analysis.
– Strong financial modelling skills and proticiency in financial analysis tools
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and economic indicators.
